We've got your back. Our program is designed to help you transition smoothly out of foster care and build a life you're proud of.

We'll connect you with career-boosting training programs, help you find a place to call home, and support your educational goals, whether that's getting your GED or heading to college.

Plus, we'll teach you the essential life skills you need to be independent, pair you with a mentor who gets it, and make sure you have access to the healthcare you need. It's your time to shine, and we're here to help you make it happen.

As a Richmond native, mother, and grandmother, I've turned my own life challenges into a force for good. Through Bridging the Gap for Young Adults, I use my real-life experiences, compassion, and faith to connect with and uplift young people facing their own struggles.

My unique understanding and relatable approach make our organization a standout in the community, providing a safe space for young adults to find the support and guidance they can't get from textbooks.

I've been helping people navigate life's challenges for over 30 years. I'm passionate about making a real difference, no matter who you are or what you're going through. I've worked with people from all walks of life, so I get it - life can throw some curveballs.

My goal is to team up with you and find solutions that actually work. When I'm not working, you'll find me spending time with my family, swimming, staying active, or exploring new places. At the end of the day, I'm all about helping you live your best life.

Hey, I'm Michelle! I'm a mom, a grandma, and a Bronx native who's now living the good life in Virginia. I'm also a student, working towards my business degree because you're never too old to learn new things, right?

But what really gets me fired up is Bridging the Gap for Young Adults. I started this organization with five amazing women because we believe in you. If you're aging out of foster care, we want to help you build a successful future. We're here to support you, guide you, and cheer you on every step of the way!
